Mineral

OUR STRATEGY

In Arian Mineral Industry our goal is to be regarded as the leading junior base and precious metals explorer in Iran, as a preferred investment and as a preferred joint venture partner.

Our objective is to create value for our customers by exploring in Iran, one of the most prospective countries in the world. Additionally, we believe we can be the first choice of joint venture partners for larger mining projects

   We try to:

  • Keep a flat, low-cost organizational structure.
  • Reduce energy usage per unit of production
  • Use our reputation and knowledge to continue to access ground.
  • Prospective for both base and precious metals.
  • Diversify and grow revenue streams

Mining

Iran is rich not only in oil and gas, but in mineral deposits’, as well. Iran has the world’s largest zinc reserves and second-largest reserves of copper. It also has important reserves of iron. Uranium, lead, chromate, manganese, coal and gold. In addition to the major coal mines found in khorasan razavi,kerman,semnan,mazandaran,and gilan, a number of smaller mines are located in north of Tehran and in Azarbayjan and Esfahan provinces.
Deposits of lead, zinc and other minerals are widely scattered throughout the country. The mines at sar cheshmeh in Kerman province contain the world’s second largest lode of copper ore.

Barite

It receives its name from the Greek word “barys” which means “heavy.” Due to its high gravity, Baryte can be used in different industrial, medical and manufacturing applications.

We have completed many exploration and mining projects in “Ardakan” – a county in Yazd province- industrial zone with the cooperation and participation of well-known mineral companies. We extract barite in concretions in sand and sandstone. These concretions grow as barite crystallizes within the interstitial spaces between sand grains. Nowadays our barite trade indicators shows a growth of 65% more than the same period in 2017.

Cobalt

In 1995 our alloy development projects were successfully completed in Natanz metallurgical science town with the assistance of MSC developers and Arian technicians. Since then Cobalt-base alloys became one of our main specialties either in operational machinery or research projects.

Cast cobalt-base alloys were originally proposed for surgical implants over 60 years ago. Recent investments have provided a better technical justification for a variety of biomedical applications. These kinds of alloys have shown significant improvements over many key factors like;

  • Better compositional uniformity
  • Higher tensile strength
  • Increased ductility
  • Improved fatigue strength

Some topics that have emerged in recent years include the application of cobalt-based alloys in  orthopaedic, dental, neurological, and cardiovascular implant devices.

Copper

Pure Copper is non-polymorphous metal with reddish color. Zinc addition produces a yellow color, and nickel addition produces a silver color. Melting temperature is 1083 °C and it is three times heavier than aluminum. In comparison to silver the heat and electric conductivity of copper is lower, but it is 1.5 times larger compared to the aluminum.

In Rafsanjan – the capital of Kerman province- we start our job by mining sulfide and oxide ores through digging or blasting and then crushing these to walnut-sized pieces. Crushed ores become powder through rotation and cylindrical machines. The next step is to remove the waste slag and recycle the water and after all it can be turned into pure copper cathode in two different ways; leaching & electro winning or smelting and electrolytic refining. Cathodes may also be cast into wire rod, billets, cakes or ingots, generally, as pure copper or alloyed with other metals.

Aluminium

After Oxygen and Silicon, Aluminium is the most common metal in the earth’s crust that provides an almost inexhaustible raw material source. Our modern life is unimaginable without aluminium! Just think of civil engineering, packing, power transmission and many other technologies that make life easier. How technology be realized without using aluminium?

Due to the variant usage of Aluminium in different sectors such as automobile industry and home appliances, Arian manufacturers have had their attention to this precious metal from a long time. Nowadays, the conclusion of that effort is the shining logo of Arian holding on almost every reliable factory. From Jajarm to Ghazvin Aluminium savings, providing high quality raw material is the main commitment and our end users are completely sure that this promise will not be broken.

Titanium

High strength, low density, and excellent corrosion resistance are the main properties that make titanium attractive for numerous applications. Just take a look at the following items to realize the variant usage of this metal;

Aircraft (high strength in combination with low density).

Aero-engines (high strength, low density, and good creep resistance up to about 550°C).

Biomedical devices (corrosion resistance and high strength).

Biomedical devices (corrosion resistance and high strength).

Our Titanium savings in south of Kerman is a huge potential which can feed many manufacturing companies for different applications. We are recently outsourcing some of our mineral project in this area in order to obtain sustainable development and create more jobs. We were always a start- up enthusiast! Any local or foreign start-up is welcomed to propose us their novel ideas regarding extraction or applications of this precious metal in industry.
